Justin Lofton’s Heritage Series Jimco Gen 3 Trick Truck features a retro livery that pays homage to Paul and Dave Simon’s Miller American Chevy from Baja 1000 race 25 in 1996.

The Heritage Series

Method Race Wheels are known for their high-quality performance wheels designed to withstand the rigors of off-road racing. Crafted using a flow forming process, their stunning wheels ensure precise dimensions and ultimate strength – available for trucks, race cars and UTV’s alike!

Method was founded on the premise that off-road racing is an avenue to genuine performance, providing teams of all levels and classes a premium support program with deeply discounted products, dedicated race support team services, factory direct support services, eligibility for R&D testing of new products as well as no minimum race requirement requirements.

Justin Lofton’s Jimco Gen 3 Trick Truck kicks off the Heritage Series. Inspired by Paul Simon and Dave Simon’s Class 1 tube-chassis race truck from 1992, its livery is designed after that of its predecessor which won first in its class at Baja 1000 race 25th edition in 1992. However, its modernized counterpart boasts cutting edge technologies with Ford big block engine coupled to a Fortin 5-speed transmission and modernized Fox suspension featuring massive Yokahoma tires all mounted onto MRW103 Race Series beadlock wheels.

Cody Swanty brought his Miller American Chevy Pro Truck into the Heritage Series as another off-road race truck. Swanty wanted something classic on his race truck for the 50th Baja 1000, so he used its Miller American livery as part of its strategy; apparently this strategy paid off and won his class.

Heritage Series competitors continue with AJ Jones of Mason Motorsports AWD TT. Son of legendary TT racer Jesse Jones, AJ has proven highly competitive in both 6100 and Spec TT classes since joining racing as an adult. At 2021 Baja 1000 he raced as part of a three-truck Chevy team led by Boyd Jaynes and Brian Godfrey which finished third overall and took home their class victory.

Wilson Motorsports Class 1 was chosen as the sixth off-road race car for the Heritage Series. For decades, Wilson family racing cars have been at the forefront of desert racing – winning races using two-wheelers, three-wheelers, Class 1 cars, and even three-wheeler trucks! Their traditional livery makes them a natural fit with this series as their rich tradition is carried forward into each generation of Wilson family racing success.

The UTV Series

Method Race Wheels has long recognized that wheels are an integral component of UTVs and builds them to the highest standards, to meet both immense amounts of torque as well as some of the harshest offroad environments. Their team has extensive racing experience that they leverage into creating some of the finest UTV wheels available today.

Method has you covered, whether you prefer flashy black wheels that will stand out on the trail, or something more subtle. Their H133 Glamis UTV Wheel offers a distinctive spoke pattern for added style and strength in your Polaris RZR, Yamaha Rhino or Kawasaki Mule vehicle. Plus, its compatibility with various UTV tire options means finding one to match your ride should be no problem at all.

Method developed the 401-R Beadlock UTV wheel with desert environments in mind, to meet these challenges head on. Its robust construction helps shed off sand and debris that would otherwise damage wheel and tire; plus an outer bead seat with striations grips the tire bead for secure hold, while an aggressive inner safety hump helps prevent deformation under extreme loads.

Method Race Wheels’ 401-R UTV beadlock wheels feature a forged 6061 beadlock ring with Grade 8 zinc plating hardware for ultimate beadlock security and come complete with matte black finishes to ward off environmental elements. Furthermore, each diameter size width and offset combination is available so as to find the ideal match for any UTV application.

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has everything you need to give your UTV a distinctive edge on the trail or simply improve its appearance, from ITP, Maxxis, Dunlop Kenda STI wheels and tires to accessories for side-by-sides and more! Find what suits you by browsing our selection of wheels & tires; complete your build by shopping our wide variety of side-by-side accessories; then complete it all by browsing through our vast collection of side-by-side parts and pieces!

The Street Series

Method’s street wheels aren’t an afterthought – the company utilizes its race experience to rigorously test and design all their products, including their street wheels – giving Method some of the strongest offerings on the market – you won’t easily find stories of cracked or damaged Method wheels online!

Currenty, the MR305 Matte Black/Machined Face street wheel from Method is their best seller with over 10,000 sold. Featuring an elegant 12 spoke design complemented by machined faces and debossed Method logos; along with its distinctive Street Loc ring that simulates true beadlock functionality; push through hubs, matte clear coat protection, removable “Street Loc” rings can be switched out for variety of different colors for maximum customization possibilities.

Method’s Heritage Series pays homage to some of the most legendary off-road desert race trucks and cars ever built, and particularly number five pays homage to Bill Stroppe’s “Big Oly” Bronco driven to great success by Parnelli Jones during early days of off-road racing.

Method uses only top quality raw materials when crafting their wheels and tests them rigorously in their race shop, maintaining high levels of quality control over the finished product while remaining cost competitive. No shortcuts are taken here and this dedication to excellence sets Method apart from competitors.

NORRA Mexican 1000 in Ensenada will feature Method’s booth as they present sponsor of Time Trials and award an eye-catching custom made trophy to each division winner of their race. Don’t miss this exciting event and make sure you visit Method!
